15. A Deep Settled Peace in My Soul

1 Every day, every hour, I am under the pow’r
Of the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb;
Drinking deep at the fountain of life all along,
Ever glad, ever happy I am.

Refrain:
There’s a deep settled peace in my soul,
Waves of God’s holy love o’er me roll;
Every day, every hour, I am kept by His pow’r,
There’s a deep settled peace in my soul.

2 I have found perfect peace, from all doubting release,
Just by trusting in Jesus alone;
Bidding farewell to creeds, going to Him for my needs,
All my fears and misgiving are gone. [Refrain]

3 I am happy each day in this blessed new way,
Wondrous blessing to me He doth send;
And I known He will keep, comfort e’en when I weep,
And will give me sweet rest at the end. [Refrain]
