1 Crown him with many crowns,
The Lamb upon his throne.
Hark! how the heav'nly anthem drowns
All music but its own;
Awake, my soul, and sing
Of him who died for thee
And hail him as thy matchless King
Through all eternity.

2 Crown him the Lord of life,
Who triumphed o'er the grave,
Who rose victorious in the strife
For those he came to save;
His glories now we sing
Who died and reigns on high,
Who died eternal life to bring,
And lives that death may die.

3 Crown him the Lord of love;
Behold his hands and side,
Rich wounds, yet visible above,
In beauty glorified;
No angel in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends the burning eye
At mysteries so bright.

4 Crown him the Lord of years,
The potentate of time,
Creator of the rolling spheres,
Ineffably sublime.
All hail, Redeemer, hail!
For thou hast died for me;
Thy praise shall never, never fail
Throughout eternity.

1 Al Salvador Jesús
canciones por doquier
con gratitud y puro amor
entone todo ser.
A quien nos redimió
en santa caridad,
cristianos todos, con frevor,
su nombre celebrad.

2 Al Cristo coronad,
Señor de vida y luz;
con alabonzas proclamad
los triunfos de la cruz;
a él solo adorad,
Señor de salvación;
loor eterno tributad
de todo corazón.

3 A Cristo el Salvador,
Rey de la eternidad,
tributa cantos de loor
el coro celestial.
Con ellos a una voz,
con júbilo sin par,
las glorias de su inmenso amor
hoy todos entonad.

4 Rey de la vida es él,
del mundo el vencedor,
quien a la muerte despojó
de todo su terror.
En el poder vivid
de su resurrección;
glorioso el día llegará
de plena redención.
