1 As you follow Jesus onward,
To that beautiful country above,
When you meet the weak and wayward,
let them hear of the Savior’s love.

When you meet them,
Kindly greet them;
Let them know how in love Jesus came from above;
Tell them sweetly
He saves completely,—
Let them hear of his love, his wondrous love.

2 There are those whose souls are sighing
For a smile or a sentence of cheer;
In the darkness some are lying,
Knowing naught of your Savior dear. [Refrain]

3 There are many who are bearing
Heavy burdens of sorrow and care,—
Sighing, longing, and despairing,
For their pathway is never fair. [Refrain]

4 It was your dear God who made them,
For their souls Jesus suffered and died;
Won’t you do your best to aid them?
Won’t you lead them to Jesus’ side? [Refrain]
