1 Hosanna to the Lord our King!
With praises let the whole world ring;
His mighty works declare,
His royal way prepare,
And unto him rich trophies bring.

Chorus:
Hosanna to the Lord our King!
Hosanna to his name we sing!
Let all the earth, from shore to shore,
Rejoice in him forevermore.

2 The Hand that spread the heav’ns above,
Within whose Palm the waters move,
With mercies all unknown
Sustains and keeps his own
In tenderness, in peace and love. [Chorus]

3 Hosanna then we sing today;
And flower-strew his kingly way
As forth we go to greet
Him with a tribute meet,
And crown him Lord and King for aye. [Chorus]
