113. Thou Wilt Keep Him in Perfect Peace

1 The palace of God's Perfect Peace
I can almost discern;
The portal Trust I've safely passed,
No more for rest I yearn.

Refrain:
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace
Whose mind is stayed on thee;
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
Who trusts, yet cannot see.

2 The silver-shining light of Faith
Grows bright and brighter still;
I know God's plans are best for me
I trust my Father's will. [Refrain]

3 Hope feebly shone within my heart,
While sad, I longed for rest;
But now Hope's light is clear and strong,
This life of trust is best. [Refrain]

4 O wondrous, wondrous peace of God!
Thy fullness closes round!
The portal Trust I've safely passed,
God's blessed peace I've found. [Refrain]
