1 Right joyfully we meet to praise
Our Father’s holy name;
Who dwells in light, who guards our life,
Whose love is aye the same.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Before the Lord, rejoice!
And sing his love with heart and voice!

2 Give thanks while life is young and fair,
And skies above are bright,
And childhood’s voices fill the air
With music soft and light. [Refrain]

3 By wonders great, by mercies sure,
He marks the changing hours;
Thro’ wreaths of snow, tho’ cold winds blow,
He lifts the springtide flow’rs. [Refrain]

4 He bids the summer sun rise up,
O’er ocean’s rocky bed,
And changes earth’s green robe to gold,
When autumn’s fruit is shed. [Refrain]

5 And still as years go silent by,
The same sweet tale is told,
Of his divine and watchful pow’r,
That never waxeth old. [Refrain]

6 O God of Love! Eternally
To thee our songs shall rise;
And thankfulness and joy shall crown
