Such is the mind of our Lord;
He will send showers of blessing,
This is foretold in His word.

Floods of His goodness and love;

As is the glad days of old
When, their Redeemer confessing,
Thousands were bro’t to the fold. [Refrain]

Promise that never can fail;
God’s Holy Spirit possessing,
We shall not falter nor quail. [Refrain]

We have not tarried in vain;
Failures and follies confessing,
Mercy will cover each stain. [Refrain]

This is the day of His pow’r;
God the great Giver addressing,
