11. I’m Walking With My Saviour

1 I’m walking with my Saviour—
In His presence ever,
And His love grows sweeter ev’ry day!
By His own hand He leads me,
In green pastures feeds me,
Treads the path before me all the way.

Refrain:
So day by day I’m walking
With my Saviour talking
And I hear His promise “Do not fear”!
So whatever may befall,
My Jesus knows it all,
And He will alway hear me when I call.

2 And when the days grow dreary,
And my feet grow weary,
‘Tis so sweet to know that Jesus cares!
To feel Him close beside me—
There each hour to guide me,
All my hardest burdens Jesus bears. [Refrain]

3 He sees the way before me,
And the storm clouds o’er me,
But He softly whispers, “Do not fear!”
Safe in His arms He’ll hold me,
To His breast enfold me—
When the storm clouds break He will be near. [Refrain]

4 Each day the path grows clearer,
As he draws me nearer,
And I yield more fully to His will.
Oh keep me, blessed Saviour,
Thine alone forever—
Teach me just to listen and be still. [Refrain]
