En la vintromezo
De pasinta jar'.

2. Tutan universon
Kreis Dia man';
Tamen li alprenis
Formon de infan'.
Kuŝis en staltrogo
Ĉe naskiĝa hor'
Dio Ĉiopova,
Kristo, la Sinjor'.

3. Dum anĝeloj sanktaj
Laŭdis super ter',
Kantoj de serafoj
Ŝvebis en aer';
Sube la Patrino,
En animtrankvil',
Donis aman kison
Al la kara fil'.

4. Kion mi donacu,
Kvankam malriĉul'?
