112. Coming

1 Jesus is coming from heaven
Back to the earth some day,
Will you be found where faithful are crowned,
Or be turned away from His jewels?
O He will come back in His glory
Over the earth to reign,
Hasten, my brother, get ready,
Gather in the grain.

Chorus:
He is coming
Back to the earth again,
Coming in love from heaven above,
to reign over man;
He is coming in power, glory,
O what a night 'twill be!
Saints on the earth will greet Him with mirth,
The King is He.

2 Some day the clouds will be laden
With a most precious King,
He will descend, our glorious friend,
while nature shall sing of His glory and
Into subjection all nations
Low at HIs feet shall lie,
He will be crowned with true glory,
Lord and King most high. [Chorus]

3 Even the angels in heaven
Know not the day nor hour,
But thru the maze on one of these days
We'll see Him in pow'r bro't from heaven,
for He will be given dominion
Over the land and sea,
O what a glorious ruler
Will our Savior be. [Chorus]
