66. Inasmuch

1 When saw we thee a hungered, Lord,
And ministered unto Thee?
Inasmuch as ye have done it to the least of these,
Ye have done it unto me.

Blessed lesson that we all may learn,
Blessed plaudit that we all may earn.

2 When saw we thee a-thirst, O Lord,
And ministered unto Thee?
Inasmuch as ye have done it to the least of these,

3 When saw we thee a stranger, sick,
Or in prison, and came to Thee?
Inasmuch as ye have done it to the least of these,
