125. Draw us to Thee, O Lord, may we

1 Draw us to Thee, O Lord; may we
Still journey on to heaven.
In one accord Thro’ Christ our Lord
May grace to us be given.

2 Draw us to Thee; our plea shall be,
Freed from this earth’s afflictions.
By Thy great might, In wondrous light,
We’ll strive for full perfection.

3 Draw us to Thee; our course shall be
Wherever Thou shalt lead us.
Thy light reveal, That we may feel
Thy mercy in its fullness.

4 Draw us to Thee, for weak are we;
In Thee we seek protection.
Lord, we are Thine; Thy hand divine
Can save us from destruction.

5 Draw us to Thee, and then shall we
Prepare us for Thy kingdom.
Do make us pure; To live secure,
We’d share in Thy salvation.

6 Draw us to Thee, and we shall see
The victor’s crown of glory,
Which we shall gain, If we remain
Thy children, pure and lowly.

7 Draw us to Thee, and then shall we
Ascend to Thee in heaven.
Our praise shall be, Eternally
To Thee, our Saviour, given!
