K. Lee Scott's tune Shades Mountain is popularly known as the tune for The Tree of Life, and Splendor and Honor. This tune is now arranged as a voluntary, which stand alone, or may be used as an expanded hymn introduction. The voluntary also works well as an introduction to the best-selling SATB choral setting of "The Tree of Life" (MSM-50-3000).
