Dollard, James B. (Kilkenney, Ireland, August 30, 1872--April 28, 1946, Toronto, Ontario). Roman Catholic. Studied at Kilkenney Classical Academy and the Grand Seminaire, Montreal; ordained, December 20, 1896. Pastorates in Toronto, 1897-1901, 1910-1946; Uptergrove, Ontario, Ontario, 1901-1910. Using the pen-name Slieve-na-Mon, he published in Catholic magazines much verse with an Irish flavor, of which some was issued in book form by McClelland and Stewart, Toronto, in 1917. He declined various editorships, preferring to serve as a parish priest.
