Dollard, James B. (Kilkenney, Ireland, August 30, 1872--April 28, 1946, Toronto, Ontario). Roman Catholic. Studied at Kilkenney Classical Academy and the Grand Seminaire, Montreal; ordained, December 20, 1896. Pastorates in Toronto, 1897-1901, 1910-1946; Uptergrove, Ontario, Ontario, 1901-1910. Using the pen-name Slieve-na-Mon, he published in Catholic magazines much verse with an Irish flavor, of which some was issued in book form by McClelland and Stewart, Toronto, in 1917.
