Stockton, Martha Matilda, née Brustar,was born June 11, 1821; married to the Rev. W. C. Stockton, of Ocean City, Cape May County, New Jersey; and died Oct. 18, 1885. Her hymn, "God loved the world of sinners lost" (The Love of God), in Laudes Domini, 1884, is dated 1871.
