Bradford Gray Webster (1898-1991) was born in Syracuse, NY. Before service in World War I, he attended Amherst College. A graduate of Boston University of Theology he served as a Methodist minister for forty years, all in pastorates in New York State. His most popular hymn is "O Jesus Christ, May Grateful Hymns Be Rising."
