Seeley lived for a while in Avoca, New York, where he belonged to the Pentecostal Assembly. In 1907, he went to St. Louis, Missouri, from the Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles, California, and helped found an Apostolic Faith work there. By 1932, he was pastor of Adullum Assembly in Rochester, New York, but resigned that post in 1933. In 1944, he went to California to live with his daughter, staying there the rest of his life.
