Bobby Burnett

1932 - 2008 Hymnal Number: d60 Author of "Savior, lead me, Savior, guide me" in Glory Bound, Our First 1957 Book Bobby was the son of Ruben Jackson Burnett & Mollie Newman Burnett. and husband of Nobie Ruth O’Neal Burnett. He served as pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for 45 years. In 1957, the same year he established the church, he and Videt Polk founded the Gospel Singers of America.
