Most of his Chris­tian life has been spent in Pen­te­cost­al cir­cles, but since mov­ing to Down­pat­rick five years ago he has wor­shipped at a small Bap­tist church, where he min­is­ters reg­u­lar­ly. 1860 - 1944 Person Name: Irving C. Tomlinson Author of "O peace of the world" in Christian Science Hymnal (Rev. and enl.) Tomlinson, Irving Clinton. (Perry, New York, 1860--1944). Graduated from Buchtel College, Akron, Ohio, B.A., 1880; M.A., 1883; and Tufts Divinity School, B.D., 1888. From 1889 to 1896 he was pastor of the First Universalist Church, Saugus, Massachusetts, and a social worker in the Boston area.
