The blood stained trail

If you want to live at peace with God

Author: J. W. Ferrill
Tune: [If you want to live at peace with God]
Published in 3 hymnals

Representative Text

1 If you want to live at peace with God
And safely pass thro' the vale;
You must find the way He has made so plain,
Just follow the blood-stained trail.

Refrain:
Just follow the bloodstained trail
Over mountain and hill and dale;
If your faith grows weak turn the searchlight on,
And follow the blood-stained trail.

2 There is only one true way, that's found
It never, on earth, shall fail;
And 'twill lead you straight to God's white throne,
Just follow the blood-stained trail. [Refrain]

3 If you heed Jehovah's will each day,
When He calls you 'twill all be well;
You can close your eyes with a smile and say,
I've follow'd the blood-stained trail [Refrain]
