Representative Text

1 On the resurrection morning, when the dead in Christ shall rise,
And the living saints shall meet Him in the air,
By the angel hosts be carried to their mansions in the skies,
On the resurrection morning I’ll be there.

Chorus:
On the resurrection morning I’ll be there,
All the glory of the ransomed ones to share;
In the brightness of that morn,
When the Savior shall return,
With the saints of all the ages I’ll be there.

2 When we reach our home immortal, thro’ the radiant gates of gold,
When the heavy cross no longer we shall bear,
Then the King in all His beauty shall our raptured eyes behold:
On the resurrection morning I’ll be there. [Chorus]

3 Glory be to Thee, dear Savior, who in love prepares a place,
Where Thy chosen endless joy with Thee may share;
Soon the heirs of life and glory, thro’ the riches of Thy grace,
Shall inherit life unending over there. [Chorus]
