1928 - 2010 Person Name: Dani D. Aguila Hymnal Number: 105 Author of "My Creed" in Hymns from the Four Winds Daniel D'umuk Aguila was an editorial cartoonist, journalist and artist. He signed his work "El Dani." He was born September, 24, 1928 in the Philippines to Governor Doroteo Aguila of La Union and Donata D'umuk. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Philippines in 1952 and was a Fellow Audio Visual and Television Education at Syracuse University. He married Norma Alampay in 1960. She was a fellow student leader at the University of Philippines. They worked together for several years The University of Philippines Christian Youth Movement. They moved to Nashville in 1967. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.

She was the head of the music department at the Philippine Christian College and served on the faculty of Union Theological Seminary in the Philippines. NN
