74. At the Judgment Bar

1 There’s a day which the Lord hath appointed,
When the world shall be judged righteously,
All the Nations together shall gather,
All the Universe present shall be.

Refrain:
At the great judgment bar we must gather
Ev’ry sin there uncovered shall be,
When your name shall be called, can you answer
Jesus’ blood made atonement for me.

2 On the right hand shall stand the redeemed ones,
Robed in garments all spotless and fair;
On the left the ungodly shall gather,
Doomed to unending woe and despair. [Refrain]

3 Ev’ry sin that was ever committed
Unatoned for by grace full and free,
Must be carried by ev’ry lost sinner
Thro’ unending eternity. [Refrain]

Refrain:
At the great judgment bar we must gather
All the Universe present shall be,
When your name shall be called, can you answer
Jesus’ blood made atonement for me.

4 Ev’ry soul that rejected the Savior,
And despised his redemption so free,
Shall be banished forever and ever
Into black darkness eternally. [Refrain]

5 But the righteous shall enter the Kingdom
Of their Father and Saviour Divine
With the Angels in unending glory,
As the son they forever shall shine. [Refrain]
