19. In the Kingdom

1 How I long to meet my Savior,
Who has done so much for me;
And to dwell with Him forever,
Happy then we’ll ever be.

Refrain:
Won’t you meet me
In the morning,
Of the resurrection day;
Won’t you greet me
In the kingdom,
That shall never pass away.

2 Many friends we loved have left us,
But united there we’ll be;
When our Lord shall come in glory,
First of all we long to see. [Refrain]

3 Pure and white we’ll be accepted,
Others will not enter in;
In the kingdom that is holy,
There will be no blighting sin. [Refrain]

4 Weary souls will rest forever,
No more sorrow, no more pain—
In the time of restitution,
With our Savior we shall reign. [Refrain]
