Text: | In Heaven's Eternal Glories Blessed |
Author: | Daniel G. Wait, 1789-1850 |
Tune: | TALBOT |
Composer: | Henry John Gauntlett |
Media: | MIDI file |
1 In Heav’n’s eternal glories blessed,
Jehovah thus my Lord addressed:
“Sit Thou at My right hand on high,
Till prostrate all My foes shall lie.
2 “Thy willing people shall combine
To make th’ illustrious triumph Thine;
Plenteous as dew, in firm array,
Thy youths shall seal to Thee display.
3 A priesthood, endless and divine,
Ranked with Melchizedek’s is Thine
So swore Jehovah! His decree
Unchanged, unchangeable shall be.
