Rome, James J. (Langholm, Scotland, 1859--1920). Coming to the United States in 1880, he was living in Des Moines, Iowa in 1892, and in Boston from 1895 to 1905. At one time a Baptist minister, he was a Christian Scientist practitioner and teacher from 1895 until his death.
