At Anchor Riding

Representative Text

1 In the shadow of Thy wings, O dear Redeemer,
I am resting and my rest is sweet;
When the waves are rising, high I am abiding,
In the shelter of this dear retreat.

Chorus:
Safe, at anchor riding, in the haven;
Safe, at anchor riding, in the haven,
Safe, at anchor riding in the haven,
Blessed haven of my Saviour's love.

2 In the shadow of Thy wings, O dear Redeemer,
There is blessing both in storm and shine;
With the wild winds raging fierce, I'm safely hiding
In the shelter of the love divine. [Chorus]

3 In the shadow of Thy wings, O dear Redeemer,
There is rapture such as none can tell;
'Mid the cares and trials still, my Lord, I'll praise Thee,
In the shelter where I sweetly dwell. [Chorus]
