1807 - 1874 Author of "The cleansing stream, I see, I see! (Chorus)" Palmer, Phoebe, an American Methodist, b. 1807, and d. in 1874, wrote "Blessed Bible! how I love thee" (Holy Scriptures), and “O! when shall I sweep through the gates" (Heaven Anticipated).
