Sufficient Grace

Author: Rev. H. H. Ryland Hymnal: Consecrated Hymns #95 (1902) Hymnal Title: Consecrated Hymns First Line: The cross is heavy,—this I know Refrain First Line: Sufficient grace, sufficient grace Lyrics: 1 The cross is heavy,—this I know,— But there’s a blessed place Where I can flee in time of need And find sufficient grace. Refrain: Sufficient grace, sufficient grace, His word now offers me; And when I see Him face to face, His grace, my theme shall be. 2 When dark the storm around me rolls, It cannot hide His face; Then to the mercy seat I flee And find sufficient grace. [Refrain] 3 And when the tempter comes, and would God’s work in me efface, Then to the Saviour I will go And find sufficient grace. [Refrain] 4 Tho’ oft I tread some thorny way, Upon my christian race, I’m sure that always, day by day, I’ll find sufficient grace. [Refrain] Topics: Evangelistic; Grace; Temptation; Trust Languages: English Tune Title: [The cross is heavy,—this I know]
