Jesus Answers Prayer

Author: Nellie Place Chandler Hymnal: Light and Life Songs No. 2 #2 (1914) First Line: Tho' shadows gather and the way seems long Lyrics: 1 Tho’ shadows gather and the way seems long, Clouds hide the sunshine, God can give a song; Lest not thy courage falter, nor despair, For Jesus answers prayer. Chorus: Jesus answers prayer, Jesus answers prayer; Ask of Him, and come believing, For Jesus answers prayer. 2 He knows the way is hard, be not dismayed, Trust in the Saviour, O be not afraid; Tho’ still unanswered,—trust His love and care, For Jesus answers prayer. [Chorus] 3 Can we not trust Him, who such love doth show? His way makes our way, wheresoe’er we go; His yoke is easy, He the load will bear, For Jesus answers prayer. [Chorus] Languages: English Tune Title: [Tho' shadows gather and the way seems long]
