With Me All The While

Author: E. E. Hewitt Hymnal: New Songs of the Gospel #33 (1900) First Line: We journey on, not knowing Lyrics: 1 We journey on, not knowing What trial may arise, Or what bright joy be glowing Beneath tomorrow’s skies; But Christ will surely keep me From aught that would defile, I know my loving Saviour Is with me all the while. Refrain: With me all the while, With me all the while; I know my loving Saviour Is with me all the while. With me all the while, With me all the while; I know my loving Saviour Is with me all the while. 2 Sweet ties are often broken In this, our life below, The parting word is spoken, And tears of sorrow flow. But comfort, like a rainbow, Upon the cloud will smile; I know my loving Saviour Is with me all the while. [Refrain] 3 In danger and temptation He’s always at my side, My strength and consolation, Whatever may betide. Till Eden’s fields of beauty Before my vision smile, I know my loving Saviour Is with me all the while. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [We journey on, not knowing]
