God is With Me

Author: Rev. B. F. Clarkson Hymnal: Praise and Promise #2 (1900) First Line: When the skies are clear and bright Refrain First Line: This I know, this I know Lyrics: 1 When the skies are clear and bright, And my pathway gleams with light; When the gentle breezes blow, God is with me, this I know. Refrain: this I know, this I know, God is with me, this I know, For His promise tell me so, God is with me, this I know. 2 In my struggles for the right, In the darkness of the night, When the tempests rudely blow, God is with me, this I know. [Refrain] 3 In my efforts to be true, While I strive His will to do, When, where duty calls, I go, God is with me, this I know. [Refrain] 4 When my loved ones fade and die, And no stars are in the sky, When night covers all below, God is with me, this I know. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [When the skies are clear and bright]
