We'll go Out and Take The Land

Author: J. B. Youngblood Hymnal: The Cyber Hymnal #11852 First Line: Come, all ye Christian soldiers Refrain First Line: We’ll go out and take the land Lyrics: 1 Come, all ye Christian soldiers, And form a mighty band, Put on the Gospel armor, Go forth and take the land; Do battle for the Master, His enemies pursue; With Jesus for your captain, Be strong, and brave, and true. Refrain: We’ll go out and take the land, Behind His banner grand; With Jesus as our captain, We’ll go out and take the land. 2 The harvest now is ready, And there is much to do; Our numbers seem "so many," Still "laborers are few"; The souls of men are dying Without a hope of life; Then go ye forward, bravely Contending in the strife. [Refrain] 3 Yes, bravely go ye forward, It is the Lord’s command: "Go out and teach all nations" Of every name and land; Go tell them of the Savior Who died to set us free, And offers full salvation To sinners such as we. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [Come, all ye Christian soldiers]
