Representative Text

1. From my Father’s home I wandered,
For my feet were prone to stray,
But my Savior sought and found me,
And I’m homeward bound today.

Refrain
Homeward bound,
I’m homeward bound today;
I’m homeward bound,
Praising Jesus all the way.

2. I was lost in sin’s dark valley,
Following the downward way,
But my Savior saw my danger,
And I’m homeward bound today. [Refrain]

3. I was sin-stained, I was weeping,
But my stains are washed away;
And, rejoicing in my Savior,
I am homeward bound today. [Refrain]
