None But Jesus Loveth Thus

O the wondrous love of Jesus, Whom they scourged and crucified

Representative Text

1 O the wondrous love of Jesus,
Whom they scourged and crucified,
Who for lost and guilty sinners
On the cruel cross hath died!

Chorus:
Wondrous love, O how grand!
All for us, friends, all for us;
Wondrous love for you, wondrous love for me,
None but Jesus loveth thus.

2 Can we slight a friend like Jesus,
Who is pleading with us now,
Who this moment will receive us
If to him we contrite bow? [Chorus]

3 Never friend so true as Jesus,
Who this life so freely gave;
We will yield our hearts to Jesus,
Who hath died our souls to save. [Chorus]
