Representative Text

1 Our Father’s love is over all;
He notes each wayside flow’r;
No sparrow to the ground can fall
Unguarded by his pow’r.
The cattle on a thousand hills His loving eye doth see,
And day by day our lives he fills
With blessings rich and free.

Chorus:
Our Father keepeth watch o’er all;
He notes each wayside flow’r;
No sparrow to the ground can fall
Unguarded by his pow’r.

2 Our Father’s love is over all;
He dwells in pow’r on high;
More sure his vigil than the sun,
Or stars that gem the sky.
Not highest height nor deepest space
Can hide form him away;
The passing of a thousand years
Are only as a day. [Chorus]

3 Our Father’s love is over all;
Unceasing is his love;
No wand’ring child, tho’ strayed afar,
Can from his presence rove.
The cattle on a thousand hills
His loving eye doth see,
And day by day our lives he fills
With blessings rich and free. [Chorus]
