Representative Text

1 Ring out tonight thro’ the waiting land
The sweet and glorious Christmas cheer;
For God has given unto us a king,
And we glorify His name so dear.

Refrain:
Glory to God in the highest,
Hear the happy voices singing;
Gladness thro’ the world is ringing;
Glory to God in the highest,
Peace on earth, good will t’ward men,
Peace on earth, good will t’ward men!

2 Far o’er the world hear His message ring,
To all who would His word obey;
And the reward in Heaven will be theirs,
Glorifying there His name alway. [Refrain]

3 Ring out the joy of the heav’nly hosts,
While songs the angels’ chorus sings;
The echoes falling from the realms above,
As the Christmas joy in glory rings. [Refrain]
