Lewis William Mansfield USA 1816-1898. Born in Kent, CT, he was a woolen mill worker. He was became an author and poet, usually writing on Christian themes. His five books include: “The morning watch – a narrative” (1850); “Up-country letters” (1852); “Country margins and rambles of a journalist” (1855); “The outlines of the mental plan, and preparation therein for the precepts and doctrines of Christ” (1883); “Traces of the plan of our being so far as revealed..” (1884). Little information about his personal life was found.
