Jesus Needs Us

Where brothers are burdened and pathways are drear

Author: James Rowe
Tune: [Where brothers are burdened]
Published in 1 hymnal

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 Where brothers are burdened and pathways are drear,
It is there that Jesus needs us;
Where sad ones are longing for courage and cheer,
It is there that Jesus needs us.

Refrain:
It is there that Jesus needs us,
It is there, It is there;
Where love may be shown to souls sad and lone,
It is there that Jesus needs us.

2 Where bosoms are sighing, where glistens the tear,
It is there that Jesus needs us;
Where brothers are waiting the story to hear,
It is there that Jesus needs us. [Refrain]

3 Where always are heard the harsh discords of strife,
It is there that Jesus needs us;
Where sorrow and pain and unkindness are rife,
It is there that Jesus needs us. [Refrain]

4 Where win is alluring the youthful and fair,
It is there that Jesus needs us;
Where brothers and sisters rush on to despair,
It is there that Jesus needs us. [Refrain]
