From the unformed womb of space,
Newborn worlds of gleaming glory,
Fresh with hope and ripe with grace:
Speak again with pow'r and promise
When the storms of fear increase;
To our chaos and confusion
Let Your light and truth bring peace.
2 As we worship, may Your Spirit
Breathe through us the pow'r of prayer,
Words of life for daily living,
Strength to do and faith to dare.
Come, enflame us, Holy Spirit,
Like the Church at Pentecost;
Help us bear the light of blessing
To the least, the last, the lost.
3 Rooted in the love of Jesus,
Nourished by His flesh and blood,
May we prove a fruitful vineyard
Joined in mutual servanthood.
