Blood bought saints sing hallelujahs

Author: George Hall
Tune: [Blood bought saints sing hallelujahs]
Published in 1 hymnal

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 Blood bought saints sing hallelujahs
To the praises of the Lamb;
Cherubim’s join in the chorus
To Jehovah, Great “I AM!”

Refrain:
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Round the throne the angels sing;
Earth and Heaven join the chorus,
While the saints their tributes bring.

2 Wrestled on in spite of sorrow,
Their’s the suffering and pain;
Saints on earth, and prophets, martyrs,
Swell the number of the slain. [Refrain]

3 Clad in robes of white before Thee
They behold Thee face to face;
See the nail prints,—oh the rapture
Of poor sinners saved by grace! [Refrain]

4 Wondrous Saviour, Thou hast sealed us,
And again art coming soon;
We shall stand before Thy presence,
And Thy ever-blazing throne. [Refrain]
