Podem Todos Vir

Representative Text

1 "Deixai que venham a Mim meninos",
Outrora disse Jesus assim;
E Sua voz ainda vos chama:
"Vinde, meninos. Oh! Vinde a Mim!"

Refrain:
Podem todos vir aos pés do Salvador,
Entoar-Lhe gratos hinos de louvor.
Cristo não muda, nem mudará;
Inda as crianças receberá.

2 Pouco depois de assim convidar-nos,
Cristo na cruz por nós padeceu;
Muitas crianças já têm com Ele
Parte nos santos gozos do céu.

3 Quantos meninos, inda descrentes,
Não vêm a voz de Cristo escutar;
Como fazia o pródigo filho,
Buscam seu gozo longe do lar.

4 Cristo, que deu por nós Sua vida,
Vive por nós agora nos céus;
Mui brevemente vem recolher-nos
Para vivermos sempre com Deus.
