The Fount is Flowing

Representative Text

1 Drink, O drink, the fount is flowing,
Sparkling, cooling, full and free,
Flowing from the throne of glory,
Free for you and free for me.

Refrain:
I will drink the healing waters,
O so free, O so free;
I will drink and live forever,
Lord, with Thee, dear Lord, with Thee!

2 Drink, O drink, why will you famish?
Hear the call of gospel love;
See you not the sparkling waters
Richly flowing from above? [Refrain]

3 Drink, then drink, and haste your journey
To the glorious land of light;
Where's not thirst nor pain nor hunger,
Neither fall the shades of night. [Refrain]

4 Drink, O drink, ye weary pilgrims,
Toiling thro' a world of woe,
Drink and gird you for the journey,
Be refreshed and onward go. [Refrain]
