1 Father, on this Day of days,
In Thy house we give Thee praise;
Help, O help us now to sing
Worthy songs to Christ our King.

Refrain:
Hear us, Father, come, O come!
Bless us in our Sabbath home;
Bless us on this sacred day;
Bless us now, O Lord, we pray.

2 Come, O Christ, and be our guest,
On this Holy Day of rest;
Come and teach us how to be
More and more, O Lord, like Thee. [Refrain]

3 As we search the blessed Book,
May we all to Jesus look;
Make us wise to know Thy word,
Strong to use the Spirit’s sword. [Refrain]

4 O we love this Day of days!
Lord, we love to sing Thy praise!
And we love Thy Holy Word!
Most of all we love Thee, Lord! [Refrain]
