Hymnary Friends,

Please pardon this brief interruption, and please consider a gift today to support the work of Hymnary.org. Here's why.

Each month half a million people visit this website for free access to the most complete database of North American hymnody on the planet. But this project does not come without a cost, and we have limited sources of revenue. Twice a year we hold a fund drive, and these drives are critical to our future.

So if you benefit from Hymnary.org, would you consider a donation today? Even small amounts help, and they also let us know you're behind us and support what we do.

Click the Donate button below to be taken to a secure giving site. Or you can make your tax-deductible contribution by sending a check to Hymnary.org at 3201 Burton SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

On behalf of the entire Hymnary.org team, our thanks.

Representative Text

1 For all the Savior has done for me,
I shall never forget him;
For all his mercies so full and free,
I shall never forget him.

Refrain:
He has pardoned all my sin,
He has made me pure within,
He my helper has ever been,
I shall never forget him.

2 He took my burden of sin away,
I shall never forget him;
And turned my darkness to perfect day,
I shall never forget him. [Refrain]

3 His hand is leading me all the way,
I shall never forget him;
He hears and answers me when I pray,
I shall never forget him. [Refrain]

4 Tho’ all forsake him and go astray,
I shall never forget him;
And all his bidding I will obey,
I shall never forget him. [Refrain]

5 Then whatsoever befalleth me,
I shall never forget him;
And thro’ and endless eternity,
I shall never forget him. [Refrain]

Author: William J. Henry

Originally from Ohio, Henry was an early leader in the Holiness Movement near Boyertown, Pennsylvania. In 1889 he, answered a call to hold revival meetings in eastern Pennsylvania. Denominational leaders had received requests from congregations there, but had no one to send. Though Henry was only 22 years old, he proved a very effective organizer. He toured eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey for several months each year till 1895. He became a very active evangelist and song writer, holding meetings in every American state and in Britain. --www.hymntime.com/tch… Go to person page >
