Representative Text

1 Grant me Thy spirit, dear Savior,
Fountain of meekness and love;
Graciously guide and uphold me,
Bring me to mansions above.

Hear Thou my prayer, loving Savior,
Closer to Thee would I be;
Whatever else Thou denyest,
Bring me still closer to Thee.

2 Give me Thy mind, blessed Savior,
Help me to “Walk in the light;”
True to all truth ever make me,
So shall my pathway be bright. [Refrain]

3 Give me Thy beauty, dear Savior,
Show me Thy glory divine;
Dwelling within, make me radiant,
So that for Thee I may shine. [Refrain]
