Representative Text

1 He that guardeth Israel
Slumbers not, nor sleeps;
Over all who trust in Him
Faithful watch He keeps.

Like a Shepherd He will guide,
And for all our wants provide;
Ever cool and pleasant fountains,
Leading us beside.

2 In the changing scenes of life,
Jesus still is near;
Soothing with His gentle voice
Ev’ry anxious fear. [Refrain]

3 Oh, the riches of His grace,
And His wondrous love;
Songs at night He giveth us,
Songs from Heav’n above. [Refrain]
