1 Hvor tryg en Vei
Er du, o Jesus god!
Sig ikke nei,
Min Sjæl, og kvi dig ei,
Om det gjaldt dit Liv og Blod!
Gak du kun fort,
Hvor han vil,
Og se til,
Du stille, taksom gaar,
Fordi du Korset faar!
Naar kun Jesus Formand er,
Og din Byrde med dig bær,
Sæl er da din Reisefærd.

Min Vandrings rettesnor,
Din Naade giv,
At jeg i dette Liv
Mister ei dit Fodespor!
Tag, Jesus, mig
Ved din Haand,
Lad din Aand
Oplyse mine
Trin Med Naadens Sol og Skin,
Lad i dine
Fjed mig gaa,
At jeg under Korset maa
Evigt Liv og Ære saa!
