I will stand the test for Jesus

Representative Text

1 I will stand the test for Jesus,
Who has done so much for me;
He has promised to be with me,
And my guide and leader be.

Refrain:
I will love Him, I will serve Him,
Who from sin has set me free;
I’ll confess Him, then the blessing
Fully will descend on me;
He has promised to be with me,
And my guide and leader be;
I will stand the test for Jesus,
Who has done so much for me.

2 I will stand the test for Jesus,
In the trying evil hour;
If behind the cross I’m hiding,
He will prove His mighty power. [Refrain]

3 I will stand the test for Jesus,
Then my life will be complete;
And my life will lead another
To the cross-crowned mercy seat. [Refrain]
